How do I extract specific MIDI notes from a track?

I want to take all snare drum notes out of one track and put it into another, as a standalone snare drum track. Other than manually selecting each and every D3 note, then cut & paste into the new track, isn't there a way to simply tell Sonar to take all D3's from track 1 and put them in track 2?..

SOund card is not shown after crash

I'm using a edirol UA4fx and after Sonar crashes the soundcard disappears from sight in Sonar. Even though the system is using it with no problem.Only way to get it back is to restart the system... Is there a better way? this happens using Sonar Plat and earlier versions.....
