Melodyne 4 in Sonar X3 studio 64bit

I went to use Melodyne for the first time and had to go through upgrade to 4 and activation first (all seems successful). When I select a part of an audio recording and go to Region Effects > Melodyne > Create Region FX, the part of the wave I selected appears to get processed, then a window starts ..

Ctrl+Z not undoing split clip - forced to use menu (Resolved-German keyb reverses Z+Y)

I am currently splitting a live drum recording into song sections. It is hard work and I make lots of mistakes.
