Win 10 - Why Leave Win 7?

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious, but I'm running Sonar Platinum x64 on Windows 7 x64 SP1 and I'm really satisfied with the system stability and operating environment. What incentive do I have to migrate to Win 10? Grateful for any enlightenment...

See wav while recording?

I'm not seeing the waveform during recording and I know there's an option that lets you toggle it - but I can only find it for Bus or Synth Tracks. Can anyone tell me where it is for normal tracks? Thanks - rev..

Did we lose our on track "Gain" automation envelopes? Did they even exist before?

I just went to create Gain Envelopes on a couple tracks using Automation Lanes. Gain was nowhere to be found in the possible parameters. I could have sworn this was a track auotmation option. Yes I know that it can be done on a clip but I don't want that (if I switch takes then EVERY clip would need..

Sonar and Joystick...

Having installed Sonar on a revamped computer I have found that I have completley forgotten how I implemented a gaming joystick to control some aspects of soft synths... i.e the control pad in alchemy and other synths..
