How to turn off Lane Takes

I am using X3 Producer and can't figure out how to turn off lane takes. I do not use "comping" - in preferences, the record setting is "overwrite", and "create new lanes on overlap" box is not ticked. Pro Channel EQ dead on all tracks

Not wanting to bug support, but I got a message back from them that my renewal has been OK'd (thru JRRShop), but won't show until Sonar authorizes again. What does that mean...or do I have to do anything?..
