The confusing Input/Output names SONAR has with my Focusrite 18i8...

Happy Thanksgiving to my Cakewalk family! I've always found the names in the track Input drop-down menu to be confusing. I use a Focusrite Scarlett 18i8 with 4 inputs at the front and 4 (line only) at the back. Screenshot showing available inputs in SONAR: Can someone explain what's going on there? ..

Returning to work with Sonar X3 and MIDI device.

I don't know how to search for the solution to this problem so I'm having to ask it anew.I shut down my work by hibernating my Windows 7 computer and turning off my keyboard.I start back up by turning on my keyboard first, then turning on my computer ... which brings me back to my last work point.Ho..

My fudge to ensure exported midi stems start at time 0, regardless of when data starts

Kingston_Rapture Session - surprisingly nice

So the new addition in Kingston upgrade "Rapture Session" surprised me, I downloaded, it was "free" why not ?It gathered up all my Rapture Classic, Dimension Pro Classic and old Cakewalk Sound center patches and displayed them in a new fancy searchable plugin. computer set up - where to store files & samples?

Pops and hisses with effects

I have a project with a about ten audio tracks in it with several takes per track, plus a dozen EW Play instruments which are frozen.
