Urgent - help - no sound after windows10 upgrade

Hi all, My computer upgraded to Win10 from Win7. I reinstalled the latest drivers for the FireStudio project, it connects, the light is blue, the universal control and mixer interfaces open perfect. if I play any type of audio - mp3, youtube, or something from Sonar - meters show sound outputting ..

Quadcurve EQ Tip - using a shelf as a makeshift high resonance filter

I have never understood where in Preferences the latency settings are for playback and recording. They're confusing. Anyway...
