Reassign MOD wheel

Is there a way to reassign the MOD wheel on a synth within Sonar so that it controls something besides Modulation? E.g. expression, etc. I'm sure it's simple but I can't find it :-) Gavin..

Can you split a stereo input into 2 mono channels

I’m stumped. I have a Presonus Audiobox 44VSL with 4 channels. However, when I look at the inputs for it in either Home Studio 7 or Sonar Artist, my options are a Left/1, Right/2 (both mono) and a stereo channel 3/4.
