Unfreezing Track changes compressor Input?

This has now happened often enough for me to wonder and post... It seems to happen when a track has been frozen for a long time...? I unfreeze the track (in this case, multi output AD2) and suddenly I can't hear the snare?Investigation shows my compressor (pc76) has the input all the way down (low) ..

Bigtime window refuses to cooperate.

When I want to view my big time window on my laptop, It totally replaces my console view. Ive tried undocking... etc.. what am I doing wrong? I just want it in a little box, but when ever i "X" it pout.. it comes right back replacing my console view. Tnx. WG..

issue with time line cursor
