Should I load Windows 10 from Windows 7?

Is this something where one does not lose all their programs and Windows 10 loads over 7? I really do not want to load all my programs again. Also, do I have to worry about drivers - like Lynx AES16e driver, Ilok Drivers, etc? BTW, I am still on the original Platinum program - as it works so well I..
