Can't get tutorial 1( SONAR_AudioDemo.cwb) to run

I have just installed SonarX1 Essentials - Windows7 -previously used Sonar Home Studio 6 Following Tutorial 1 without success. Have set all track outputs to my onboard sound. But the track meters do not move on starting play! Could someone help me to find to find what simple thing I am doing wrong! ..
