Looking for some advice here please....are there any hassles running Sonar X3 on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 (assuming W10 beta users are also running Sonar X3) Thanks..

Full stop

Hello, I've been trying to figure this out for months. I can't seem to figure it out. I just want to create a full stop in my project. A sudden total stop of sounds. No echo's of instruments or whatever. I think this is what is called the drop in modern music.Can someone tell me how to achieve this?..

Best Drum Kit with Brushes

Hi, I'm trying to get the same vibe as Pat Metheny's *Last Train Home* with drums. I believe it's just a vamp with brushes on the hi-hat, but I can't seem to find a drum kit that has brushes. Any ideas would be welcome. Thanks...

SONAR LE 8.5 VST plugin problem (EZDrummer 2)

Okay so I've gotten EZDrummer 2 and when I tried to like make it work as the VST plugin it is into SONAR LE 8.5 it doesn't recognises it or something like that. I try to scan and nothing happens. [Solved] 563 samples latency for Scarlett Solo is ok?

(Post #3) I just got my new Scarlett Solo and Sonar now informs a latency of 563 samples (12.8 msec for 44000 Hz, 11.7 for 48000, 6.4 to 88200 and so on). I wonder if this latency is correct or whether can I reduce this number?..

Audio Disk full, unable to save entire recording -- bogus message?

Nothing kills workflow faster and more completely than recording a vocal track and having Sonar stop mid syllable with the above message. Audio Disk full, unable to save entire recording? According to the performance module the disk is 75% empty (or 25% full if you're an optimist) and the cpu usage ..

Windows File Properties Changes - UGH!

Windows XP gave me the audio file info I need. So why did MS remove it and replace it with a slough of useless, and often blank, info in Windows 7 (and up)? Setup SONAR Professional...extraction stall

My recent download of SONAR Professional stalls during the extraction process from the Command Center. I can see many of the files in the proper drive, and many get extracted.
