2 Projects Open. Q: How Do I Move One Project to 2nd Monitor?

I have 2 projects open in Platinum. I can't seem to slide one project to the other monitor. I have no issues floating the browser, VST, etc. during a session but for the life of me I can't seem to slide an entire project over. Is running Sonar on Parallels desktop feasible?

Anyone doing this? I'm running the latest version of Sonar and Parallels desktop on my MacBook Pro. I use Sonar only for editing on the laptop, but never recording. Is this setup stable enough with low enough latency to be used as a primary recording solution? Thanks..

Can I record clean and distorted guitar on the same track while using an amp sim?

If I'm using an amp sim plugin on a track, set up with a distortion tone, is there a simple way to record a clean part on the same track, disabling the amp sim for only the desired part(s), just as you would switch between clean and distorted channels on a real amp?
