Run as administrator disables dragging wav file into Sonar

I'm very new to Win 8.1 Pro and I was very surprised today when I found out that if I open Platinum with Run as administrator, I can no longer drag files into Sonar like wav, mp3, etc. I rebooted the computer and the same thing happened so then I unchecked Run as administrator and Platinum worked fi..

Guitar into Sonar mono convert to stereo is weird

The lead guitar (into headphones, not so noticeable on monitors), is being placed in the right headset at an odd place.
