My Now Time has disappeared and the track view no longer scrolls

My track view no longer scrolls and I see no Now Time to indicate where the transport is - whether stopped or running. Any ideas?..

Gainstaging and softsynths

What is it with a lot of softsynths, you have to gainstage them by -15dB or more before they stop clipping. I'm glad of the Cakewalk Live broadcasts which I believe introduced me to gainstage adjustments. Hmmm....any more broadcasts planned?..

(SOLVED) Melodyne (not Essential) not appearing in region fx NEW PROB...

I have the full (paid for) version of Melodyne Editor (Single Track) but it does not appear in the Region FX drop down menu. All I get is something called Vocal Sync. I did not install Melodyne Essential in the Sonar Platinum install, as I own a full version and did not see then point of installing ..

Audio Track Not Showing

I have a song with one stereo audio (WAV) file. The track plays just fine. Trouble is, it just shows a flat line, as if I had recorded silence. I tried bringing the same file into a new project, with the same result. Opening it up in Sound Forge shows a normal stereo audio file...

Is Sonar demanding on video card?

I have a reasonably high performance ASUS motherboard desktop, and I use the built in video. I did this in order to keep things quiet. For some reason, Sonar will sometimes not update/scroll the screen to keep up with the timeline, and in essence the time cursor gets lost. Sometimes I just exit Sona..

Question on Gain Staging and Master Buss

Hi all,I do a pretty good job of keeping my track levels average RMS at -18 as I feed my busses, and also pretty good keeping the busses at the same level overall. However, am working on a mix that is sounding pretty good, but the master buss is reading about -12 average RMS. So, I have these option..
