Sonar X3e - arm a track & Sonar will stop or start 15 to 20 seconds byitself

All works fine for 6 months till I arm a track to record. [Solved] What does a waveform shown in outline only indicate?

I did something to a clip that causes it not to play, mute is not set, but waveform is not solid as the rest of the lane is it's just shows the outline of the waveform. Help, it's hard to search the doc or forum for description of a non text indicator.thanks bob..

Platinum Audio Snap Clicks
