PRV Controller pane: Delete controller

Anyone else have trouble deleting a controller value in controller pane of the PRV? You can use alt click, but the mouse precision required is extraordinarily precise ... have to be within a pixel of the line...

Crashes!

This always happens to me. Working with Sonar, everything is great, the flow is working. Things are sounding great, editing MIDI, having fun, hit play, then boom, crash, WSOD. I've gotten used to hitting Ctrl+S after just about every change, but I still manage to lose around 5 or 10 min of work ever..

Midi Controller Problems

I am having problems connecting and mapping my two Akai midi controllers to Sonar Professional. I have contacted both Akai and Cakewalk support, neither of which could solve the problems. Akai essentially dismissed the issue under the pretense that Sonar was not a "real" DAW and entirely unsupported..

How to filter cc-messages on a soft synth track?

Sorry for dumb question. How I can filter a control change messages entering a soft synth track?. Prophet 12 has an annoying feature that sends the midi cc7 when the volume potentiometer is used. It can't be turned off without turning off all cc parameter sends. Thanks!...

Trimming Dead Space

I've seen videos where producers have removed empty space in the audio files so that all you see is actual data--no empty space. Is this necessary? What advantage, if any, is there to doing this?..

Getting clean guitar in monitor [SOLVED]

Anyone knows of a program that would take a MIDI sequence and make it readable in human form?I have a few MIDI sequences that will not open in SONAR yet, they will play in Windows Media Player. I'm looking at a program that says it can convert MIDI sequences into CSV or Word format and want to know ..
