No automation lane for Kontakt synth when synth track is from a track template

I'm using Signal (by Output Sounds), which runs inside Kontakt. When I create an instrument track with this synth, I can create an automation lane for any of its automatable parameters. However, if I create the same kind of track, but via a track template, I cannot create an automation lane for it's..

Brain fart - MIDI learn

Hello Normally you select MIDI learn by right clicking on a fader or something, wiggle the controller fader and then it works.My issue issue is I can't see MIDI learn anywhere in Sonar, so I guess I've clearly completely forgotten the MIDI learn feature! Thanks....

Sonar Learning Curve

I'm thinking about upgrading at some point to Professional from Sonar 8.5 Producer, mainly to get XML capability. Can anyone give me a quick idea of the learning curve? As much as going to another DAW entirely?..

Correct Folder directories

So i had previously had "Music Creator" installed and it has probably caused the issues i have , That being that when you go into "Properties" and "Folder directories" they all point to C drive .My Cakewalk Content however is all on D drive .
