Mastering in Sonar

If you were mastering a multi-song CD in SPlat, how would you set it up? What's your process? Using only included plugs. Any information on what you do and why. Thanks much! Links to other discussions on the subject would also be appreciated. Paul..

What is the point of adding the Shuttle Pro2 as a controller in Sonar?

So I recently purchased a Contour Shuttle Pro 2 controller. In Sonar Plat, there is an option to add this device as a controller under Edit|Preferences|Control Surfaces. Doing this seems to have absolutely no effect whatsoever. In the Contour applet itself, you can point one of the old Sonar configs..

Not exactly sure how to explain exactly what i want to do but here goes....

I've not posted here for a very long time since i can usually figure out my problems/issues.On the other hand what i generally do is pretty straight foward and easy. All I do here is record drums, 12 inputs. Everything else is sent to me and i mix it down etc..No MIDI I have an Alesis IO-10 Firewire..

(SOLVED) How do I find hidden events?

I have a 12 bar drum riff I'm working on but when I listen, the transport plays back 17 bars. That's 12 with drums and 5 with nothing. I am using 6 outs for the drums. I've looked at the event manager for each track and can't find anything, in any track, after the 12 bars. What/where do you think so..

sony spectralayers ... added to Sonar

Just a cheerful note: adding soundforge and then adding SpectraLayers 3.0, the same method, on windows, using regedit, does work. Some great extra power put into Sonar. Is Melodyne broken in Dorchester??

Started having some weirdness after installing Dorchester. Melodyne will not open its GUI when creating a region fx and won't open even if the "open editor" command is clicked. I can use it standalone on my desktop no probs but it either won't open or just crashes on instantiation. Anyone else seein..

Bug? Muted MIDI take lane data looks un-muted in collapsed track
