minimized window placement not remembered in saved project?

I've taken to ordering minimized PRV windows along the bottom of the screen to combat two issues with sonar platinum: the controller pane's horrible defaults and the lack of identification of what the window content is in a minimized window ... the order matches my score groupings, so I know flutes ..

CC64 sus pedal events - clumsy way to edit in PRV

Quantize sometimes erases notes

I was quantizing a drum track and sometimes it erased the notes that I selected and quantized. It was pretty rare, but I saved a file that does it every time right at beat 1 of bar 66. What does "General Failure" when closing/saving mean?

So today, as I was closing a project, Sonar Plat asked me if I wanted to save. I chose "yes" and got a dialog box that said "general failure". So I saved manually, no error and then closed, again no error. So, no data lost, but it did give me a fright. Anyone seen this? Just wondering what it meant?..
