Timeframe for Platinum on dvd

I am keen to upgrade from X3 Producer to Platinum but my slow and painful connection speed means download would take a couple of days - i will go through this pain if dvds are not going to be available relatively soon but would prefer to hold out for dvds.Can Cakewalk please give an idea on timescal..
