SONAR Platinum - MIDI Controller Doesn't Work

Since upgrading to SONAR Platinum my older Oxygen 8 MIDI controller does not work. I have settings the same as X3, where it still does work. Wondering if the controller itself would not be supported? Mix down in Plt often causes crash -

This seems to regularly happen. I'll mixdown a project - 16bit, 44Hz, power1 dither - and I'll come back only to find crash reported in rdas1117.dll - ie, Roland Quad driver. Anyone successfully using multiple ASIO interfaces simultaneously?

Before I go down this rabbit warren I figured I ask the collecting wisdom here. I know that ASIO itself does not support multiple interfaces. I know that there are software solutions (ASIO4All among others) that claim to do so. I'm wondering if it can really be done. Thanks!..
