Midi input keeps moving/ swapping

In my track midi input/output box, I set it to My Akai EIE...everything works fine. However, after I have Saved and quit the project, on re opening I find that this setting has been set to some other midi source such as either my Axiom, or Korg controller....I then have to reset all the track midi ..

Channel tools pops loudly and kills audio

Hi *Every* time I add CT to a track it pops loudly and kills the audio outs. To make CT work, I have to save the project with the CT left in the FX bin and then restart Sonar (Platinum). It then works fine. I tried switching off 64 bit processing but no difference. Any clues anyone? Thanks Gary..

Computer with One drive question

For myself, I use a separate drive for my projects, and another for samples as recommended. Also several externals for backups. But for a friend who wants to get started with is single C drive computer, how much of an issue will it be to run that way? Is it a situation that at a certain track count ..

X3 on a UHD tv at 4k
