On Install: can you specify directories?

I just got a space warning on update about my c drive, but I always put stuff audio related on my D drive, but obviously the new installer has thoughts of its own. How do I correct this so my precious C drive doesn't get overrun with new install info? I'd hate to have to delete all my keyboard cat v..

for some odd reason my plugin manager is missing from the tools drop down menu. Also when intro to right click when in the effects bin to manage it the box is checked plugins default and will not let me check the manage plugins. What can I do to fix it?..

Not hearing MIDI while recording on the same track

Hi, I have this issue, when I record say midi drums, I first record the kick and the snare. If I then record hihat on top of that I can not hear what I previously recorded. I only hear what I'm currently recording. Where is the setting for this in Sonar X3 Producer?..
