Audio editing - clips

I have been referred here for this first post of mine to this site - . Questions I have are: I have an older version of Sonar and in that one by pressing F7/F8 I can go the beginning and end of clips as opposed to dragging a pointer to the beginning/end of clip - an error prone/fiddling type of manu..

Playback slower than recorded

Hi - This is weird. We recorded our band a couple weeks ago using Sonar on Windows 7 PC, everything sounded great. We came back today to do overdubs, and everything is playing back slower and at a lower frequency. So what used to be a low A at 110hz is playing back at around 101hz, somewhere between..

save as Audiofile. CWB also creates a Audiofile. CWB.assets file in X3 and Platinum

Hello all,X3 and Platinum, I have noticed that when I save a file in Sonar also creates a I can't seem to fine anything in the manual about assets files.Does anyone know what this file is for and how it relates to a CWB file? Do I need to keep theses files together?..

Bounce a track or Clone and apply effects?

As title says looking at which is the best option of the two above for consolidating a track to save processing power. Cloning keeps all of the sends setup but is there a reason to choose bounce over it? Or does it not matter?..
