Platinum install question

I just bought the Platinum upgrade from X3 Producer but have yet to install. What exactly do I need to install to be current without affecting any current installs? Like Dimension Pro? Rapture? Renaming VST plugins

I never bothered to rename my VST plugins in the plugin manager until this morning when I got several plugins displaying on my console view with the same abbreviated name. That is very handy.
