Tracks falling out of sync in Platinum

With a song playing, if I turn most any plugin on or off, my tracks fall out of sync with each other. I have to either stop / restart the transport or toggle the Plugin Delay Compensation button to get them to sync up again. X3 Piano Roll - controller pane can't be locked?

Metronom accenting for 12/8 feel

Is there a way to set the metronom to accent a 12/8 with litte bit more real triplet feel. Draw Pattern in Take Lanes (other than the 1st)?

Sonar 4.01 Studio Edition

Appears to me as a timing problem. Sound card works in all applications except I can not playback longer than 1 second, even when using a device not requiring sound card.
