**SOLVED** Sound differences between Splat and Studio One 3

I did a live recording and have the drum on two tracks. One for the bass drum and another overhead for the snare/cymbals. The bass drum track as recorded is poor and even if I up the track level it still sucks - thin and low level. I've got Studio One 3 Pro but have not really done anything with it...

BandLab Assistant 3.0.5 - Bitdefender 2018 reporting Virus

BA auto-updated to 3.0.5 this morning at which point Bitdefender 2018 moved it to quarantine.... "bandlab-assistant\auth-test.json is infected with Atc4.Detection and was moved to quarantine." I am assuming/hoping that this is a false positive. Can someone please confirm?..

So . . . how important is the quality of your sound card when using "Export Audio" ?

I'm just trying to get my head around the mechanics of what's happening when you mixdown using Export to Audio. The 24 bit mix is complete, sounding good, time to mixdown . . . is it Cakewalk, or my audio card that's affecting the quality of the exported audio ? I hear the Prochannel + plugins are c..

[Solved] Dimension Pro not listed as softsynth in SONAR

Just did the lifetime upgrade thing....Dimension pro doesn't show up as a softsynth?...I downloaded it, it launches as a stand alone , but when I click through the list of soft synths in SONAR, it's not there...but there is something with that name under FX...why would it show up there instead of so..

CbB First Install went without a hitch.

Tonight I finally installed CbB. Knowing from other posts that the VST paths and plugin layouts don't come over I made sure I did that. I loaded the project that's in progress right now that's as big as they get here and it loaded and played. CPU usage looks normal. Turned off "Load Bandlab Assistan..

Update to BandLab?

I'm currently using Sonar X3. I'm not looking for complications.
