PRV Note Stretch

Hi - I am working on some bass and drums in PRV. Both tracks have the same issue. If I choose either the Smart or Edit Tool and stretch the duration of a note, no matter how small or large an amount, it adds another note to the grid. I'm not holding ctrl, alt, or anything else. As a non-member, how do I follow development progress?

I'm still on X3e. I follow the forums in order to get a picture of how new Sonar works out. I read about quite heavy issues like Sonar switching to demo mode within sessions, bugs an the like. Hiding Controller pane in PRV ... but then the mess ???

Sorry if this has maybe been discussed. I searched but can't find if there's a way. After hiding the controller pane (ALT+C) how can I permanently get rid of all of the extra stuff that then shows on the PRV over the notes? Thanks!..

Latency at buffer size of 512 is unacceptable... But NOT in competing product!
