Event list not refreshing in Platinum?

Has anyone else noticed that the event list does not refresh when you choose new tracks in sonar? If I select a track, then choose event list, the event list view opens, and on the tab is the name of the track. Anyone recording with VI Labs Ravenscroft 275 Piano

I have X3e Producer and I am not able to record this piano. When I go to add Virtual instrument it is not an option. I try to open it while X3e is open but I get an error because both are using the same audio device. There has to be a way to make this work correct?..
