How do I route midi in Sonar Platinum?

Setting for the Linear control of plug in knobs?

Hi long time on and off user of Sonar since the 90's and have recently gone for Sonar Platinum and very impressed so far. What i wanted to know is is their a setting somewhere to set plugin knobs to linear rather than rotary when adjusting with a mouse. thanks, Matt..

X3e is slow starting since upgrading to Platinum

I have Sonar 8, 8.5 and X3e installed on my computer. Opening any Sonar, no problem. Since I installed Platinum, Sonar 8 and 8.5, I'm at the quick start screen in 4 seconds, but X3e takes 14 - 20 seconds to load and Platinum takes 34 or more seconds to load.
