Major Annoyance with Midi Keyboard

Is this a bug? I have a Midi Keyboard controller plugged in via USB. If I forget to switch the thing on and then open a project in Cakewalk, all my MIDI assignments are screwed. SPLAT finds 417 VST Plug-ins, Cakewalk only 414

I can't really figure out why or what the missing 3 VST plug-ins are. Any idea why this is? I have double and triple checked that all the vst paths are the same. Perhaps they are vst's that I will have to authorize separately in Cakewalk when I try to insert them in the FX bin? I think I'll be able ..

Help me w/ Tempo changes via whole song without changing audio tracks' tempo

I have a song written and want to change the tempo without changing the audio tracks' tempo. When I go to delete about 8 tempo changes from the instrumental of the song, the audio files change also. Is there a way to prevent these audio files from changing tempo? I have never setup audiosnap on t..
