Using vocal align on stuff other than vocals?? (Solved...for now)

I'm liking the quick easy feature of this, but finding that maybe different algorhythms may be needed, if venturing away from using it on stuff other than vocals?? Yeah..I know it's "VocalSync"...but you gotta abuse the tools sometimes...right? I tried it with acoustic guitar, and it was wimpering p..

I am working with Platinum and went to get a PC preset. It opens in C\Cakewalk Roaming. I installed Platinum on D:\ and want everything pointing to D:\Cakewalk content. Keeping the "vocal sync/render" knob in vocal align always on TOP (SOLVED)

Seems if I click on anything else...like creating loop points, etc....even floating the knob to another monitor, the "vocal sync/render control knob" disappears or goes to the background.
