X1 versus Platnum optimisation

Hi Guyz !! Ok i'm heavy testing Platnum now , for my own use and to validate it for my students , by the way i take the opportunity to say that i'm kinda of tired of buying stuff to test it ...i emailed Craig for each release (X3 and Platnum) to say that i try to really give cakewalk the exposure it..

My first dumb question (for today...)

I have my license for Platinum but am hesitate to install it because of all the issues I see on the forum and I'm also just finishing up a project I've been working on for 3 weeks. Dumb question: Once I upgrade to Platinum, can I still use X3e? I assume so but don't want to take any chances.My secon..

Can X3e open Platinum projects

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere but if I open an X3e project in Platinum and make changes and then save it can I reopen it in X3e. Is there any backward compatibility ?..

Default fader levels???

Is there a setting anywhere where I can change the default level of the faders? Not a huge gripe but I ALWAYS without fail turn them down immediately, it would be nice to set them to maybe -10 and save the repetition. I know I can just make a template but I dont always use a template if I am just ja..

I feel cheated.

So, a few weeks ago I bought the upgrade from Sonar X1 to X3 for £63.07 inc VAT. Today I am offered the upgrade to Sonar Platinum for £118.80 inc VAT.That's a total price of £181.87. Yet if I had not upgraded to X3, only a couple of weeks ago, I could have upgraded for about £158 inc VAT!..

Authorization File?

I've installed Sonar Platinum using the Command Center. No problem there.Where can I find the authorization file so I can back it up in case I need to reinstall while offline?Does this file even exist if I installed with Command Center? If not, can I generate one in case I need it later?Thanks...
