Has anyone actually tried/directed the install of Bandlab's Sonar to a drive OTHER than C:\ ?? and does it actually install 99.9% on that other drive? Beginning of project playback is fuzzy

Oftentimes, when I'm playing the opening measures of a project -- synths only: SoundCenter, TTS-1, etc. (no Audio) -- the playback is fuzzy and there's static, and sometimes slows down a bit.
