Melodyne Transpose on an already created Region Effect?

Hi. Sorry if I missed it here somewhere, but I have a 3 part vocal harmony on three tracks, all going to one bus. I tuned the vocals by creating a region effect with Melodyne and all is well. Now, I'm trying to transpose those vocals up a half step but can't figure out how to use Melodyne on them..

Replace synth - am I blind or...

There is "Replace synth" menuitem in Track View.Is it also available in the Synth Rack as well (which would be the most logical place for that)? Right-clicking synth opens a context menu but there is no "Replace synth" available. Neither none of the top bar buttons in the synth rack hint for replace..

Looking for an Instrument Definition file for my Yamaha DGX-230. Necessary?

I've found lots of instrument definition files for Yamaha keyboards, but nothing so far for the DGX-230/YPG-235. Not sure why this is, unless they're not really necessary? Is it good enough just to indicate the Yamaha XG sound set? My DGX-230 has XG Lite, which cotains 490 different instrument voice..
