Processor usage during fast bounce

Something I've been wondering for a while: how come Sonar doesn't max out processor usage during fast bounce? Honeymoon's over ... Getting Fatal errors when comping in Sonar X3e

Hi,I am still "breaking in " Sonar and after around 30 hours of a lot of stability and fun got my first dump-generating fatal error, in this case, three of them over and an hour and half. recording with Line 6 POD XT USB

when im choosing my input signal > POD XT in track view in sonar, i get 3 choices of either left, right or Stereo. should i be using the stereo option? since im using the POD, which is stereo I believe. or does it not matter? wasn't real sure..
