X3 does not always recall plugin presets...

Hi guys, I have a recurring problem that from time-to-time, when I open a project, X3 Producer does not recall Pro channel EQ, PC Compression, Reverb etc settings, basically making a mix default to "zero" except for fader and pan.The curious thing is though the PC EQ is all zeroed, the O DB line is ..

I just updated to Sonar X3 from Sonar 8.5. Until now, I had not been able to find IDF's for the Roland. What is the best way to cut and paste clip from one track to another?

seems like a straight forward thing but It's a little confusing to me in X3e. I can drag a clip but I can only move it to a lane visible on the screen. Most of the time the take lanes of a track filled up screen so maybe to an adjacent track is possible but that's about it. I can use Paste ..
