X3e can't dock Console View in Multidock in older projects.

When opening older Sonar 8 or even X1 projects I am consistently unable to open and put Console View in the Multidock. CV opens in it's own window but will not "slip" into the MD. addictive drums track - ok on Master out / but off time anywhere else ( 2 in . 4 out )
