Sonar Installation Error

Each and every time I have ever installed Sonar... on 4 different computers... I always get this error: "Unable to delete file c:\windows\system32\msvcr17.dll (msvcr71.dll?) Retry | Cancel | Ignore The only way Sonar will install is to Ignore this action. No such files exist in the system32 folder b..

Import audio files into ONE/SAME track?

If I drag and drop a bunch of files into X3's timeline, they will be placed in different tracks, one clip per track. Is there a way to get them all lined up into the same track? thanks..

MIDI - Convert 12/8 to 4/4 (Compound Time to Simple Time)

Is there a way to convert MIDI from 12/8 to 4/4 in Sonar?I have an orchestra score MIDI for the Dr Who theme that I'm playing with, it would be nice to be able to fiddle with it in 4/4.Is there a sequence of edits or a workflow that can accomplish this?..

Strange midi controller problem with X3e Producer

I'm using X3e on a laptop running Windows 8. I'm trying to use an Alesis DM8 drumkit to control Addictive Drums 2. Sonar and Windows both recognize the midi device, and I have it enabled in Preferences and it shows up as the input on my midi track, the output of which is sent to AD2, but it will not..

Convert Audio Drums to MIDI?
