Looking for a good, simple sound card for Sonar X3

I'm wondering if anybody could recommend a good, inexpensive sound card for me to use with Sonar X3. I've seen a couple of other threads about this, but most people are looking for things that have extra inputs, and that doesn't apply to me. Sonar X3 Producer install

Just a couple of quick Q's: 1. I have Dim Pro 1.5 and Rapture 1.22; what is best? Ok X3e is looking real good, Gibson is looking like they care..how about Panu?

Panu is doing some great things to the look of Sonar. Can we get Sonar to bring Panu into the fold? Can we get Sonar to support the Mods?How cool would it be if Panu was allowed to really work on staff view and other things? How 'bout it? Sonar is on a great roll now. Let's really take it out there...

Recording problem

I'm having trouble getting rid of the sound of my metronone while recording. That is, the metronone sound seems to get recorded. This did not occur in the past. This happens now whether I use the audio metronome or the MIDI one. Ay suggestions? Od course, I do realize I can disable the metronome dur..

External Insert takes 10% of CPU? (Verify?)

When I add an external insert to an FX bus (using a hardware reverb) I notice that it takes 10% of my processing. One of my four cores jumps from 25% to about 50%. Adds pops and clicks so I have to up the buffer size. Is this normal? What would cause an external insert to use so much processing? Thi..

Does Sonar X2 essentials come with soft synths?

I just hooked up a midi controller, and would like to play something to see if it works. I don't have any softsynths to choose from in Sonar. Did any come with the program? If they did, I guess they're on the disk somewhere. Thanks...

Rewire not available in Sonar 8.5 and Reason 5 with Windows 7 64 bit

I know it's time to upgrade. :) I recently upgraded my workstation to Windows 7 64 bit and reinstalled my old versions of Sonar Producer 8.5 and Reason 5 and now Rewire is greyed out and not an option even on older projects where I used Reason in the past. I have tried reinstalling both several time..

Sonar X3 e and Kontakt Pianos from Komplete 5

I was wondering if anyone knew if the pianos from Komplete 5 would work in Sonar X3 before I go crazy searching my house for them. I really liked the pianos, but didn't like the Kontakt player/interface and was hoping I could just use them as a plug in in X3 and maybe the Aria player would recognize..

Convert old ProAudio9 files to X3

Hi all... I have some ProAudio9 bun. files that I'm trying to convert.I tryed loading then in X3 and in Sonar 8.5.3 and I get a error message saying "can not load file".Any thoughts on how to achive this? Thanks..
