Newbie Help with Syncing Metronome and audio clip with audio snap

Total newbie finding my way. What I have to do is import a guide audio track, match it to the project tempo (which I have seen is all done with audio snap...)however, if I leave the metronome playing throughout the track while I record midi drums along to it (with v drums) on a midi track, Metronome..

Sonar no loger recognizes Quad Capture Soundcard

Ok here goes. Been using sonar X1 for a couple of years now with no problem. All of a sudden it's telling me no audio devices are connected and silent busses detected. Im using a roland quad capture which has updated drivers and is working with well with other programs. It has completely disappeared..

Cannot route VST's to multiple tracks...

On Addictive Drums and other VST's I insert and all (16) tracks are loaded....but all audio goes to first 2 tracks for some reason....I cannot assign them to the other tracksMust be some setting in Preferences that's wrong.....just don't know which one...Thanks......

Red Rover Not showing up as control surface

Red Rover had been working for me. Now as I return to X3 to work on a new song, although Red Rover shows up in the plug-in manager as a control surface, and I add red rover in preferences midi control surfaces, it has parenthesis around it. And in the master control view it says there is no control ..

Recording issues with X2

I need some help. After recording my drum track (regular acoustic drums ) I try to lay a guitar track to the drums, but the guitar is always a 1/4 to a 1/2 second behind the drums on the play back. I tried quantize to no avail. Any suggestions? Seems kind of silly spending all this money on software..

Track Pan Not Updating

I have pan selected in my track edit filter. I manipulate the envelope, I have automation read on but the track pan slider is not updating. This has happened on several occasions, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance for any help on this...
