MIDI envelopes and channels (X2 Producer)

Patience please. I admit to being under educated concerning MIDI. I split a drop loop into separate tracks. I now want to use volume automation for each track independently. When I select the volume automation envelope, it defaults to channel #1. This causes all drum notes, regardless of other track..

Looks like my automation is not 'playing' what i 'record'...

...but it records my movements. I'm finishing up mixes for an album project and I was writing some pan automation for a track, using the auto-record button (next to the auto-play button ).So i toggle record on and play the song and move the pan around, and the automation channel draws the levels... ..

MIDI Notes Sustaining/feeding back?

Every now and then I have a problem whereby MIDI notes (can be single bass notes or keyboard chords) play in Sonar and go into what sounds like a feedback loop, although the feedback doesn't compound on itself, it's just as if they start to sustain forever. I can only cure this by saving and closing..

Why do I keep getting an ARX MIDI-port error message?

Every time I reset my VST's I get this "cannot open ARX MIDI ports" error message. However I do not own a V-Studio 700 and have never tried to install anything relating to it on my DAW. Any ideas?..

Sync issue recording drums using both midi and audio inputs

I am experiencing a latency issue trying to record drum tracks using midi triggers on the drums and microphones on the cymbals. I have adjusted the buffer size to reduce the midi latency but still have a 4 ms delay from the drum triggers. Is there any other way to sync during recording? Can I synchr..

EQ plot oddity with mid / side recordings

Anyone ever noticed this? Say you've got a mid / side recording. Standard approach, so your right side track is a phase flipped duplicate of your left side track. Panned together, they null completely, panned apart, they don't, and with a mid track, they give you a stereo image. So far so good. Howe..

<RESOLVED, maybe> VPA plugin rejected by VPA host.

Every time I try to load this .cwp I get an error message, fault reporter and Sonar crashes. The error that immediately pops up says, VPA plugin rejected VPA host. TTS-1 Distorted (SOLVED)

My TTS-1 now makes nothing but terribly distorted sounds, the kind you'd get if you plugged a line level output into a mic input - just awful, and not in any way usable.
