How to record each AD2 drum to individual tracks

I downloaded a midi template from Sonar and it's great it maps out AD2 to each channel and everything is set up and looks good but when I drag my pattern from AD2 to the timeline it only shows on channel 15 which is also the only channel that has a record button.
