Help please cant record addictive drums!!!

Hello all:I am new to x3 producer and the whole computer base recording. I am trying to record a preset from addictive drums. I got as far as assigning individual tracks for each input get sound but nothing records. What am I missing????..

Sonar X3 Ad2 & session snares sounding weird
