Dual Monitor Pinning Plugin Issue

Some way to Upgrade X3 to Platinum or Professional to get Cubase Crossgrade?

I'm jumping ship to Cubase but am still on X3 (never saw need to go to Platinum) but have been told that the decent Cubase 9.5 Pro crossgrade offer only applies to Sonar Platinum and Pro. Surely there's some way to very cheaply upgrade Sonar then get the whopping crossgrade discount?....Anyone? Anyo..

Some erratic behavior with my Sonar???

A few things been going on lately. I don't know if it's windows or Sonar or a combination.When I grab part of a track to edit it such as trim the end, crossfade or grab the track to move it. It doesn't always perform the 1st time, sometimes it takes a few time before it will let me do the operation...

How to audition MIDI Drum Loops?

What's the best way to auditon MIDI drum loops? The only way I can see to do this would be the "Import MIDI" dialog box, where theoretically I should be able to press "Play" and hear a loop before importing it. I would hope that the loop would play in Sync with my song, which is already palying. ..
