Strange (but positive) result when using JBridge and VIrtual Guitarist

I normally set the latency on my Scarlett 18i20 / 6i6 to 2ms, as anything higher "feels" wrong - especially with piano parts. However, I find that when using any of Virtual Guitarist plugins, anything less than 6ms ends up with pops and clicks. I've got a Core i5 running at 3.5Ghz with 16Gb of RAM. ..

Using Sonar X2 with east west play

I saw it happen years ago, when the first 1820m blew out the power section. It was during an install of sonar 8.5.3, as it ended the audio dock lost the so called lock.
