MIDI input very suddenly not being received by synths.

Everything was working fine, then I installed a new plugin from Waves, the Audio Track v9 and suddenly I get NO sound when I use a synth of any kind withing SONAR. Using Rapture Pro stand alone works fine. Any ideas? I should add that all the MIDI device connections appear to be the same as they ..
