Using per project adio folders

I have always used per project audio folders. For some reason Sonar stopped creating them and I can't find the option to turn them on again. This is so bizarre. I would have bet the farm that there was a tick box under preferences and I just can't see it. Please give my brain a thump and point me to..

What Do Layouts Save, and How Do I?

I'm actually not even sure if "Layout" is the feature I'm talking about. What's bugging me is everytime I open Platinum I get a tile that has the Console at the bottom, so I have to click the "X" on that tile. So, is that a layout, and if so, how do I save that iteration.
