Motorboating (no sound just harsh buzz) on playback/record

Sometimes when starting the transport (either playback or recording) I get what I believe is known as 'motorboating', i.e. there is no sound from the project, just a harsh buzz that persists until I stop and start the transport again. Sonar Platinum volume problem

Hello, I have a question please: why is it that the volume we get in Sonar when working on a track is not the same as the volume in the exported result. Often, I have a correct volume in Sonar, but the level in the same exported track (the .w file result) will be twice as low as the original volume...

Clip Pane Scrolling Frustration

Hi AllCakewalk is still my #1 DAW but one thing that annoys me no end is clip pane scrolling. [SOLVED] VKFX Delay . . . is there a download ?

I used VKFX Delay in a project on my desktop computer, then I ported the project over to my laptop, but only 1 plugin will not load up, because it's not on my laptop . . . the VKFX Delay. I recall it was a free add-on back in the Sonar Platinum days, both as a Prochannel and VST plug. I don't see it..

Changing sample rate is risky

During some "troubleshooting" I set sample rate to 44100 in a project. That was not the problem, so I reverted to 48000. Now I can not play that project. Do I need to change it back everytime I open these projects, recorded at 44100? Here is what I get: https://c2.staticflickr.com/2/1937/45266623..
