Controller changes volume, but where?

Hello, I have a dirt cheap travel controller (AKM320) that has a volume slider along with other normal midi controllers (pitch, modulation). Moving the volume slider with a track selected causes the track's volume to change. However, I don't see this change on the console slider nor the MIDI volume...
